2024 Winner: Martha and Mary's Food Pantry

Martha and Mary’s Food Pantry recently received $10,000 from ACH Seeds’ 2024 Homegrown Giving program, providing crucial support to local community members in need. This generous donation will enhance the pantry’s ability to serve its clients and address the growing need for a larger facility.

Martha and Mary’s Food Pantry, a 100% volunteer-run organization, has been a beacon of hope and support for the local community for the past 14 years. The pantry’s mission is to provide essential food supplies to those in need, ensuring no one in the community goes hungry. This mission has grown to serve over 650 people each month, a number that has seen a significant increase since September of last year.

The pantry operates twice a week, distributing food on Mondays and Fridays.

With this support from ACH Seeds, we can find a new location that will allow us to meet the needs of our clients. It will also allow us to enhance our storage capacity and meet operational and maintenance costs so we can continue to serve those in need.

2023 Winner: Declo High School FFA!

With the donation, Declo High School plans to improve its current plant science education area and provide students with hands-on learning opportunities. It will help cover expenses for costly tools and other supplies needed in the school’s greenhouse and welding classes, allowing the school to support class offerings for students. Declo High School also plans to add more labs into their courses to help students learn about the science behind agriculture.
