2025 Winner: Minidoka County Senior Center

The Minidoka County Senior Center is our 2025 ACH Seeds Homegrown Giving winner in the Amalgamated region. This volunteer-led center serves 180 seniors on-site daily and delivers 88 hot meals to those who are homebound.

The $10,000 donation from ACH Seeds will help them purchase a new steam table, delivery bags and food storage containers to allow for a wider variety of nutritious meal options.

The investment comes at a time when the center is serving more seniors than ever before. With rising food costs and limited access to transportation in rural areas, the senior center’s meal program is a critical resource. The new steam table will allow for a wider variety of nutritious meal options, while upgraded delivery bags and storage containers will help maintain meal quality for seniors who rely on delivery services.
