Thinking of this question has given me time to contemplate a response. Farmers are the only people who put a crop in the ground each spring without knowing what the outcome might be. It could be a complete success or failure; however, it doesn’t seem to bother them to make the effort to take the risk. After all, without putting the crops in the ground we would never know the outcome. This past year, all of you put your best foot forward and raised fantastic crops. Some of the best yields across the whole farm’s portfolio. An impressive outcome to say the least. You accomplished your goal of being the best you can be. As farm commodity prices struggle, I believe “Farmers” will see the Glass Half Full and continue to
produce some of the best yields we have ever raised for 2026. It won’t come without effort, but we can do it together.
