2026 Winner: Friends of Riverton FFA

Friends of Riverton FFA has been selected as a recipient of the ACH Seeds Homegrown Giving award, providing new opportunities to support agricultural education, community service and youth leadership programs throughout the Riverton area.

The Friends of Riverton FFA Alumni organization serves as a support network for local FFA students, helping fund educational experiences, community service initiatives, and scholarships for graduating seniors pursuing post-secondary education. The group’s support extends beyond the high school chapter and now includes middle school students participating in agricultural education programs.

ACH Seeds District Manager Leah Wimmer presents the $10,000 award check to the Friends of the Riverton FFA.

Funding from the Homegrown Giving award will help strengthen programs that connect students with agriculture and community service.

Friends of Riverton FFA supports projects such as the chapter’s annual “Rake and Run” event, where students assist elderly and homebound residents with yard cleanup and winter snow removal efforts.

They also support agricultural literacy activities for elementary students and community outreach programs.
